The Story

A typographic poster series that reimagines painting titles to make art feel approachable, playful, and relevant to a younger audience.

To engage a younger audience, Art UK set out to make art feel less distant and more familiar. By reimagining painting titles as simple, literal descriptions — such as “Portrait of an unknown lady” or “Standing Male Nude” — the posters introduce subtle humor and immediacy.

Using typography alone, the series makes art feel approachable, contemporary, and human.
I was responsible for both the concept and design of the posters.
